First United Methodist Church is a family oriented church with a dynamic worship service that is open to persons of any religious background.  Children are an important and vital part of our church - we have children's choirs from age 3 and up, a dynamic Sunday school program, a Youth Fellowship for teens, family movie nights, a Christmas pageant and so much more. Young or old, there is a place in our church family for you.

If this sounds interesting to you, give us a try. We gather for worship  at 8:30 and 10:00 AM, and at 5:00 PM on Sundays.  The 10:00 a.m. service, in the sanctuary, features music by the choirs, a children's message and child care in the nursery.  There is a fellowship coffee hour after the service. The 8:30 AM service, held in the Chapel, is more informal and is held in a more intimate setting. The 5:00 PM service - "Hope Cafe" -  is an informal contemporary service with a lively music program. 

Throughout the year, the First United Methodist Church provides activities for fellowship and personal growth. Holiday parties, special luncheons, auctions and craft fairs  make for a rich and vital Christian community. Everyone is welcome.  We want you to leave feeling welcomed -  like a special part of a Christian community.
