College Choir Host Families needed:
The Lindsey Wilson Singers from Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia Kentucky; will be worshiping with us on Sunday April 7, and then performing an early afternoon concert for our church and community. This college is a United Methodist College and their performance at our church will be their second to last stop on their Easter Tour. All they ask in exchange for the opportunity to perform a concert, is to have their singers home hosted, and to be fed. We will need to provide bed space on Saturday evening April 6th for about 34 college-aged singers in your homes. That works out to be 16-17 homes needed for TWO students, maybe a trio if there is an odd number of boys or girls. The host family is needed to provide a bed and feed an evening meal or snack, depending on when they arrive after a day in Boston, and then breakfast in the morning. They will need to be at the church to warm-up with the choir for the 10 AM service, and then they will have their own warm-up time for their afternoon concert, after which they depart for York ME. Cynthia Sparks from the Senior Choir is coordinating the housing, please be in contact with her if interested.
