Project Linus
There’s still time to make a blanket for Project Linus.
There are more quilt kits and instruction booklets for Project Linus quilts in the basket in the Welcome Center. You can take them home to work on them or bring them to the weekly group quilting when it resumes on Thursday, April 10 at 1:00 at Cindy Edgerly’s home at 48 Lowell St. Call Cindy at 332-4496 for directions and more information. Please let her know if you would like batting for your quilt.
Are you interested in learning to make a Disappearing Nine-Patch quilt? Cindy is planning a workshop late in April where she will have kits and instructions for the new design. Please leave the form in the office or in the quilting basket.
Let’s make an all-out effort to see how many Project Linus blankets we can make before the dedication on Mother’s Day. Please leave your finished blankets at the church before Saturday, May 10. Thanks for your help in bringing comfort to the children who are experiencing trauma.
